YAMAHA YZF-R6
Yamaha YZF-R6 (Shortened as ‘R6’) is a middle weight sportsbike manufactured by Yamaha . It was introduced in 1998 and is still in produciton.
The R6 is the sportier version of the more road-oriented Yamaha YZF600R, which includes a retuned engine, a more downward riding position, and a lower windshield.
In 2003, the R6 became fuel injected. The 2006 model features significant change in engine management system, as well as ride by wire system and a multi plate slipper clutch. In 2008 model incorporated YCC-I variable length intake system.
